Realistic Journey of the Lesbian World

While scrolling through my Tumblr account I came across a movie preview of this title. The movie seemed interesting so I decided to read the book first and now I can't wait to see the movie. This book kept me interested in what was going to evolve with the characters. I managed to finish it in 3-4 nights of reading. This book takes you through a realistic journey of lives of lesbian woman. When you read the book you are going to most likely be able to relate to one of the characters and or their situation. I'm glad that the author ended it with a happy ending that you are hoping for and you read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I did not know girls did that

My friend recommended this book and while I wasn't sure of what to expect,I definitely did not expect the characters and story to be do...relatable. I identified with their relationships, and empathized with the frustrating confusion that love can bring. I was so caught up in the stories as they unfolded that I don't know when it changed from a lesbian romance to just a romance. At the end I was disappointed because I wanted to know more about what happened to the characters, there were still explanations and stories to be told, then I realized this is the first of a trilogy - wily author :) Can't wait for the rest!

The content is well written with a dry humour that relates the author's story as if the reader was there, experiencing it all with him. All these elements, combined with Brendan's very real faith in God, makes this insightful book a thoroughly enjoyable read.

The book content is excellent, I wanted to re read it and wanted a copy for my library. It arrived today, and it is the worst quality hardcover book I have ever purchased for $30, actually for any price. The printed pages look like they were photocopied, on cheap paper, cheap hardcover, generally cheap feel all the way around. It is apparent this was rushed into print to take advantage of the possibility of folks like me wanting to re-read this classic before Harper Lee's "found" novel is released. I'm sorry I fell for it.

Enjoyed every word of it

I thought I should read more classic novels. You know, to broaden my views. I didn't know that I will like the novel this much, however I read similar stories before. I like how it shows an era, it's folks.
Each people has more layers than one, and sometimes one has to be patient, to see the kindness despite of their stereotype. And you also understand more, how stupid prejudice is particularly in those years; it was a strong tradition between folks, whose family in the past had slaves, so they still have the despise, the hate for the "lower race". It must has been a really inconvenient era, when people had to learn to see those layers.
The story sometimes makes me angry and in the next second time it's heartwarming. Some characters are lovable during the whole story -- I would like to be acquainted with a person like Atticus in real life -- some characters are there because balance is necessary, and they are just... evil. Ewells.

I would recommend this book to everyone. There is no particular type of people that should read this story more than others. This is a story for everyone.

Joshua's Night Whishpers is used to help young writers see an accomplished author writing "small moment" stories in the same way they also try to write small moments about their own lives. Johnson turns a simple, common event that could occur in any child's life and turn it into a tender story any child could relate to; especially the feeling of safety and security when being held by a loving parent.

About the Author

Simant Ranjan Upreti is a professor of chemical engineering at Ryerson University in Toronto. His research interests include the mathematical modeling, computer simulation, optimization, and optimal control of chemical engineering processes. Dr. Upreti has been involved in the application of optimal control to determine concentration-dependent diffusion of gases in heavy oils and polymers and to enhance the recovery of heavy oils.
