Super fun wish fulfillment

I will always buy the next installment of this series, and this is an excellent example of the reason why.

The reason? These books are just so much fun!

I mean who wouldn't want to be a spy at the age of 13? Then to go undercover and work for the bad guys? Beat up bullies at middle school with martial arts training? So much wish-fulfilment, you can't not have fun with it.

And that's where this book does right where the last book misfired a little for me. This book is all about Ben Ripley. He's the main character from start to finish, and he's awesome. Spy Camp, in my opinion, placed him strangely as the first-person narrator of another person's story (Erika Hale). But this one is near perfect.

With a new location at "Evil Spy School" we get to meet some new characters. Ashley and Nefarious were great additions and I loved them both. They had good backstories, although one of them felt a little flat.

The book had great suspense, which was easy given that most of it is a giant undercover plot with the fear of always getting caught.

And that's actually where things went a little south for me. This is the reason for 4 instead of 5 starts...

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

The part where Ben gets uncovered as a double-agent doesn't feel right. There is no way he should have been able to escape that situation. If the bad guys rigged the elaborate trap just for him, you'd have expected they would've also rigged a more idiot-proof way of catching him. It took me out of the story a bit.

That nit-pic aside, I loved all the extras added to the end. It was a great way to round out the book.

I'm already eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

I purchased this book for my grandson because he had read other books in this series, wanted to read this one, but couldn't fid it in the library. We read it together, and I enjoyed it as much as he did.

This is a good book. I will admit I feel sorry for the main character. I would recommend this book for all ages. My younger cousin really enjoyed it.

Great Book for Schools

It is a fabulous book for establishing a "whole School Approach" for someone new to restorative justice processes. There are clear, descriptive steps for how to initiate, establish and maintain a restorative justice program. I ordered it in hopes it would help me in my small (~45 students, 3 staff members) after-school, community center program but discovered it was aimed towards an institutional audience.

About the Author

Joe R. Feagin is Ella C. McFadden Professor in sociology at Texas A&M University. Feagin has done research on racism and sexism issues for decades. He has written 67 scholarly books and more than 200 scholarly articles in his research areas, and one of his books (Ghetto Revolts) was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. His numerous Routledge books include Systemic Racism: A Theory of Oppression (2006), Two Faced Racism: Whites in the Backstage and Frontstage (2007), White Party, White Government: Race, Class, and U.S. Politics (2012), The White Racial Frame (Second edition, 2013), and Racist America (Third Edition, 2014).

Feagin is the 2012 recipient of the Soka Gakkai International-USA Social Justice Award, the 2013 American Association for Affirmative Action’s Arthur Fletcher Lifetime Achievement Award, and the 2013 American Sociological Association’s W. Superior historical account of the true influence of African Americans in American society!

Another amazing book by Joe Feagin! When I saw the title, I stopped in my tracks and when I read the book, I was ready to buy copies for all of my friends and family. Within these lines are the dark secrets America does not want you to know about Black people. It provides a counter frame to the age old false arguments about how African Americans did nothing to make this country great. You must read this book and allow yourself to be deprogrammed from the white superiority garbage that has been pumped into and perpetuated by the psyche of Americans for centuries. African Americans have been in this country longer than most immigrant groups including the ones from Europe and provided the labor that made this country a world power. This needs to be required educational reading, so maybe ignorance will stop being so prevalent.

tell it like it is firefighter comes to Kevin’s rescue

The Bronco’s Boys series wraps up as soon as all of the men have found partners who deserve them. By the Round and Round book only Kevin still is single with no prospects. Well, that’s not quite true. He and Ken were almost a couple but that just didn’t work out.
When Kevin’s life and all of his property are threatened by a serial arsonist a rough, tell it like it is firefighter comes to Kevin’s rescue. Angus, or “MacDreamy Hotness” as Kevin comes to think about him, is the right match for Kevin. In fact, if you read Andrew Grey’s blog you will see there are more plans for Angus.
Neither man seems to understand the subtleties of flirting and dating. Therefore they misfire more than once. However, with the threats to Kevin’s life Angus isn’t willing to stand aside and let nature take its course. The arsonist and the fires, fatal to one important character, are the source of the angst in this book and it’s enough to glue you to the book until you finish it.
Bronco’s Boys is a series with more than a little drama, which sets it apart from some of Mr. Grey’s other books. I’ve loved following the adventures and misadventures of all of the men, who are close friends and as I always do with Mr. Grey’s series, I hate to see this one end. It ends on a high note with just the right HEAs for everyone, so I can put it aside to be read again another time.
I recommend this book for anyone who has read the rest of the series. It can comfortably be read as a stand alone but I think you will be drawn into their world and want to read the other books, too. And, if you drool over hot (in every sense of the word) firefighters, this is the book for you.

What Comes Around...

What a wonderful way to end a series. Three mid-20s gay men who are best of friends (Zach, Jeremy, Tristan) find love with three older hunks (Bull, Spook, Harry), with the key venue being Bronco's, a gay bar in central Pennsylvania where the young men dance and the older guys own, or hide out in.

In this book Angus, a hot mid-30s fireman originally from Scotland, and Kevin, the kind of cute and very geeky young one who has yet to find his love, meet in tragic circumstances and proceed to experience more tragedy, angst, love, lust and doubt as the plot unwinds.

This is the kind of stuff Andrew Grey excels at and in this one he really gets somewhat gruesome with all the fire activity, but it's key to everything. The romance is very rocky indeed, there are a couple of other (unrequited gay) characters who are perfectly set up to start a new series, and there is a general good feeling at the end.

My only complaint would be a spoiler, so I won't mention it because it's not as important to the book as are the implications of the cover. Woof!

Love this author

I love this series. I am sad to see it end but understand that now all the guys have found love their stories are finished. I was happy to see that Andrew Grey has said that he plans to do a series involving so of the guys we met in this book. I can't wait to see what come next. I have always enjoyed the fact that several of his series all revolve around the same town so you are always getting hints about other things from different stories.

Definitive Text for Shaft Alignment Work

Quite simply, this is the definitive text for shaft alignment work. If you do any type of machinery alignment, you need a copy of this book. Just about every situation is covered in this text. The author does seem to have a bias against "laser" alignment devices, but other than this, there is little to fault in this book. Highly recommended.

There are very few books about machinery alignment. This is the best I have encountered for machinery alignment. The tried and true methods and techniques discussed in this book are what is used in the industry for large rotating equipment.

An added bonus of this book is the detailed history of rotating equipment and related alignment methods.

Groundbreaking and effective

This book goes far beyond any other book I have ever read about female sexuality, and believe me I've read plenty of them over the years. It encourages you to go beyond thinking about sex per se and to use your sexual life force to begin functioning sexually on a much higher level, beyond anything you might even have considered possible.

These procedures are designed to give you complete mastery over your body's physical responses. Some can be difficult in the
beginning but practice makes them easier. For example, he shows you step-by-step how to channel sexual energy so that instead of
having a physical climax, you can spiral that very energy throughout your body, one location at a time. This has the effect of revitalizing all your organs, glands, and nerves in each location as the energy passes through it. Those familiar with the macrocosmic orbit will recognize the procedure. Once you develop this ability, you will be able to experience greater and more fulfilling physical climaxes that are not localized but involve your entire body. Ultimately it's designed to enable you and your partner to experience a complete physical and spiritual union as well as a union with God or the universe or the higher power or whatever you want to call it..

Since it can be difficult to do the steps he describes while holding the book in your hand and reading the instructions, I recommend taping yourself reading the instructions out loud at an un-hurried pace and then using the tape instead of the book to guide you through the exercises.

This is a challenging book but completely rewarding if you actually start putting the steps into practice. I had some resistance in the beginning to going and trying some of them. It was much easier to just keep reading. But when I pushed through and followed his instructions for a few things, I was really impressed and inspired by the way they made me feel. The first time I sat down and actually did the entire ovarian breathing process - and believe me, I did NOT do it perfectly - I felt an awakening in my body that was profound and inspiring.. I've been practicing raja, hatha, and swara yoga for a while, so I guess I was ready, but I feel that this book can benefit anyone with even the slightest inclination to try some of the methods he provides, and just a little bit of practice will go a long way.

This book isn't for everyone. It's not a bunch of intellectual exercises, but it does involve your mind as well as your body and your
spirit. It provides very practical physical steps that you can do by yourself, and later with your partner. If you think you're going
to simply read it and have it change your life, you could be disappointed. To get the most out of this book you will have to apply
yourself. But even if you simply read it, it can open your mind to what is possible. The rewards will probably be on a scale with
how much effort you put into it.

This is carefully written, itused to be the difinitive guide to tantric path good instruction on concepts for both men and women

It says 'Mantak' is the author however I think his wife wrote or closely edited this book. The personality of this book is precious.

I think it is the best book they produced and it is one of the first written if not published a little later. If you are into martial arts, this information can be very meaningful to begin to comprise a rare and viable path. It can be easily misunderstood from western conventional thinking. It's like learning to unfathom the art to make good tea now that you appreciate good coffee. The formulas are within oneself, so it is a good usable guide to discover the language and thinking processes or mindset for developing one's own "Formulas". It briefly touches upon the deleterious karmic consequences of tantric yoga mal- practice, however that is a whole'nother'world and if you are truly seeking an alternative way, this book could be a catalyst to helping you to finding your destiny.. Who knows, with this knowledge base, you might win the first marathon that you ever run!

healing Love through the Tao

A spiritual view and method of sexual practice. As a woman who was raped in the past, I wanted to be able to look at sex from a different perspective other than someone's lust. This book doesn't deal with the subject of rape (one should visit a councilor for that), but rather reveals practices and methods for healing and rejuvenating the body through work with herself and also a loving sexual partner. A celibate woman may also benefit from these exercises. Breathing exercise and explicit diagrams are also used. This is esoteric knowledge which for centuries was secret in China. It's a wealth of fabulous knowledge and very helpful. There is a companion book for men as well. Oh, to find a partner trained in this method!
