A Concordance of One's Life features ten of my best short stories, many previously published in literary magazines, some unpublished, but all never collected together until now.

The title story was the subject of an art installation in San Francisco curated by Watchword magazine. �San Francisco artists came together and produced artwork in response to "Concordance", some in traditional mediums, some utilizing multimedia, and even interpretive dance! �Watchword also hired actors to roam the installation acting as characters from the story. �In all, it was a remarkable event and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it.

A nice set of short stories strong on characters and atmosphere. For me the stories got stronger towards the end, so I'd recommend if the book doesn't seem to your liking to persevere or skip ahead! "The Last Man in San Francisco" stood out as a timely sci-fi exploration of surveillance and control through technology.

Progressive Young Beginner Piano Method Book 1

Excellent material for the 5 - 6 year old beginner! You might want to ask for older editions in which the notes are printed larger.

The first five right hand notes are presentd first, along with instruction in time valuues of the quarter note, half note, and whole note. With each new note, the position on the staff is clearly pointed out, as well as the corresponding location on the keyboard and the finger with which it is played. (There are diagrams of the keyboard on which the relevant note is highlighted clearly, as well as drawings of the hand with numbered fingers). The instructions are clear and straightforward.

The same holds true for the first five left hand notes. More musical concepts, such as the whole, half and quarter rest are introduced. The lead in bar and the repeat sign are also learned.

Indeed, I have used this book with kindergarten aged beginners, teenagers and older adults and recommend it highly!

Hands down, Absolute BEST Piano Method Book for ANY Age.

This is, hands down, the absolute BEST piano method book for ANY age. I just don't get the other method books, even the usual suspects, throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the students from the very beginning, cluttering up the page. This book literally teaching and drills ONLY ONE concept per page, in the exact order needed to properly learn piano. I never use anything else with beginners or returning non-advanced students. (As an aside, I confess, I have never listened to the accompanying CDs with this book.)

Product was received much faster than expected. Was in brand new condition as stated. I bought this for my 7 year old that was beginning lessons, but I have enjoyed learning from it myself.

This was a slight disappointment.

As other reviewers stated, there is no visual representation for any of the binding methods described. Something as simple as a line drawing would have been a nice touch. Perhaps S.Ziglar will do an update to this book in the near future? Other than that, I did enjoy the book.

Never in over 20 years have I ever read an 'erotic novel' such as this!

I have been reading erotic novels for over 20 years and I have read them all - Zane, Mary B. Morison, Mariyln Lee, Lori Foster and all the others.... NEVER have I read such a book as this - it really needed an ADULT ONLY Warning label on the front! Pynk develed into the dark side of sex addiction that left me completely dazed and ON FIRE! I could only read this book in small incriments because I had to cool off inbetween! Sexaholics WILL have you addickted to this provocative story of three women who are addickted to sex no matter what. Get ready to be set on FIRE! Get ready to learn things you did not know about sex and get ready to be ADDICKTED!!! I know its only March 2010 - but I really don't think any other erotic story this year can top this! OMG!!!!

this is one disease I wish I had... (not really, but yeah)

I won this book in a contest by the author and I couldn't WAIT to start reading it. This is an extremely sexual book with a LOT going on. The four main characters; Valencia, Teela, Miki, and Brandi are women with the sexual appetites of a man. No, scratch that... they have the sexual appetite of a man who has been imprisoned on a desert isle for eight years, while being fed a diet of Viagra, Levitra and oysters, being forced to watch (while handcuffed) Ebony Ayes and Ron Jeremy.

The title of this book is the perfect one for this story because it is a perfect definition of these women. Reading about the lives of these four women is very voyeuristic and sexual. Unfortunately, all of the sex they experience is not the "good" kind. A lot of it is painful, risky, dangerous, mindless, and self-induced. I think the author was trying to do two things: 1. I think she was trying to tell a story, and 2. I think she was trying to show us how real and devastating sexual addiction can be. The only problem with trying to do both in a fictional story was that; when she started talking about the `serious' part of the story, it really slowed down.

It was kind of like I was in a Sex-Ed class taught by a naked Gabrielle Union and then right before she demonstrates how she gives herself an orgasm, in walks a very old and very wrinkled Lynn Hamilton (Donna from `Sanford & Son') to take over the class. I get what Pynk was trying to do, but I found myself speed-reading through these parts because I didn't want to hear all that.

Everyone one of the main characters has a sexual monkey on their back and while its fun to read about their exploits, you do feel sorry for them once you really get into the story. The saying goes "Everything that glitters aint always gold". Well having a girlfriend who can't get enough may not be all that it's cracked up to be either. I know... hard to believe :-) but read this book and you'll see what I'm talking about. Pynk doesn't hold back on the drama or the sex. You'll get a healthy dose of both, right in your face so be prepared. If you haven't read anything by Pynk, `Sexaholics' just might just make you a `Pynkaholic'.

deep look at how crippling addiction can be

Miki Summers is a sexaholic who loves the heat with anonymous pursuers until her out of control sexcapades catch up to her. Valencia Sanchez is bisexual hitting on both sexes in spite of being engaged to an affluent fianc� who tells her monogamy with him only or goodbye. Voyeur Teela Raye loves seeing others go at it and then doing it with her mate, but a peeping Thomasina may not be enough satisfaction especially since her mate is not interested in her passivity as a watcher. School teacher Brandi Williams is a one night special hitting different hunks every evening, but soon craves doing it in daylight too.

These four women are sex addicts who meet at Sexaholics Anonymous meetings. There each tells their tale staying in control one minute at a time as their libido keeps whispering feed me.

The four key characters rotate perspective so that the audience obtains a deep look at how crippling addiction can be. Each knows the danger their sexual need causes yet they cannot control their libido's indulgences. Well written, Sexaholics is an entertaining erotica that focuses on the destructiveness of being out of control when 24/7 your vagina controls your brain.
